Fair Trade Philadelphia participated in the World Fair Trade Day 2016 by doing the World Fair Trade Coffee Break Challenge with Ten Thousand Villages, Center City Philadelphia.

There are two events coming up March and April at Ten Thousand Villages stores where you will have the opportunity to raise money for charities as you shop:

Catholic Relief Services:

On Friday, April 17th, we will be holding a Community Shopping Event with Ten Thousand Villages’ stores throughout the greater Philadelphia area. A portion of the sales made on this day will be donated to the CRS Fair Trade Fund to benefit disadvantaged farmers and artisans overseas, and build the fair trade marketplace in the U.S.

Black Women's Health Alliance:

Ten Thousand Villages in Center City, Ardmore , and King of Prussia will hold a Community Shopping Event on International Women's Day, Sunday March 8th. The event will benefit The Black Women's Health Alliance. Ten Thousand Villages will donate 15% of our net sales in those three stores on that day to the organization. The more that you shop the more we can give. Celebrate the day in style all while making a difference.
